Dr. Bess Chang is a board certified and fellowship trained neurologist who has been consistently recognized as one of the areas’ Top Neurologists by Las Vegas Life Magazine.
Dr. Chang earned her Medical Doctorate degree from the A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. She then completed an Internal Medicine internship at the University Of Massachusetts School Of Medicine, followed by a Neurology Residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. She had the honor of being appointed Chief Resident of Neurology while at Northwestern and served as the Neurology Clerkship Instructor.
Following completion of her Neurology Residency, Dr. Chang received further sub-specialty fellowship training in Neuromuscular Diseases and Epilepsy, while serving as a Faculty Instructor in Neurological Sciences at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Chang is board certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. She is currently an adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology for Touro University School of Medicine. Dr. Chang has been involved in many clinical and basic science research projects and has co-authored publicized book chapters and articles. She has spoken on a wide variety of neurology topics in medical conferences and teaching institutions, including being a speaker for the neurology board review course. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Nevada Sate Medical Society, Clark County Medical Society, Nevada Osteopathic Medical Association and American Osteopathic Association.
